Dainik Jagran, is a leading Hindi language Newspaper. Born and brought up in Lucknow, Gitanjali had to put up a big fight with her dad to convince him to let her pursue higher studies in Delhi. She completed her postgraduate studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

Gitanjali, herself was impacted heavily with the problem of infertility and had to undergo a 10 year struggle before her second IVF attempt succeeded.
