Some of the programmes of Delhi Council For Child Welfare are:
- Set up in 1978, Palna is DCCW’s home to provide care and shelter for children lost, rendered homeless, relinquished or abandoned due to poverty, breakdown or crisis in the family.
- Bal Chetna, day care facility established in 2002 for mentally challenged children.
- Educational Sponsorshio Programme: To support to academically bright children from low-income families who would otherwise be forced to drop out of school due to economic constraints.
- Supervised Homework Scheme: The objective behind this scheme is to reach to underprivileged children who would drop out of school for not being able to keep up with their schoolwork.
- Working Children Projects: This was started in 1987. Currently it has 110 working children enrolled in this program.
- Vocational Training Programme: was started in 1976, the main object behind this was to impart skill to enable children to support themself.
- Palna Shishu Kendras: This was started in 2014 with 2 centres one at Qudsia Bagh and other Janakpuri. There are about 450 children enrolled and have 40-50 children in each units. The fess is very nominal they charge Rs. 250 per child per month.
