1. Farah Khan and Sirish Kunder Chose IVF Pregnancy
Ace choreographer, Farah hit the headlines in 2008, when she gave birth to triplets through IVF. According to her,
“When the choice is to either go childless or IVF, there is no room for doubts. I was 43 when I had my kids and my biological clock had stopped ticking long time ago.”
She made her choice public at a time when infertility issues were still a taboo and shoved under the carpet. Today, Farah is an inspiration to many women across the country to come out in the open about fertility issues.
2. Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao Minced No Emotions Declaring About Fertility Issues | #OpenTalk
After a miscarriage in 2009, Aamir and Kiran welcomed their son Azad in 2011 through IVF surrogacy. It was no mean task and gossip mills were churning vigorously on this juicy piece of byte. Aamir was quite open about it and declared that
“this baby is especially dear to us because he was born to us after a long wait and some difficulty.”
3. Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan Opted For IVF Surrogacy
After several years of the birth of their two kids, Shahrukh and Gauri opted for IVF surrogacy when they planned for their third child. There was a lot of speculation and for a long time this was kept under wraps. Finally Shahrukh confirmed that,

4. Sohail and Seema Khan Battled Secondary Infertility

5. Mahesh and Haseena Jethmalani Consider IVF As Boon
Socialite Haseena and prominent lawyer, Mahesh had their twins 10 years after the birth of their first daughter. Haseena was 50 at that time (in 2006) and proudly declares,
“I think IVF is one of the ways forward for women but most people shy away from it as unfortunately there is a certain stigma attached to being infertile.”
6. Saira Banu Had Miscarriage in 8th Month Pregnancy
Veteren Bollywood star, Saira Banu did get pregnant in 1972 as revealed by her husband, the tragedy king of Bollywood, Dilip Kumar. However, she suffered a miscarriage in the 8th month due to high blood pressure. Post that incident she has never been able to get pregnant again. They decided to remain ‘child-free’.
7. Shilpa Shetty Conceived After First Miscarriage
Famous Bollywood actress turned entrepreneur married businessman Raj in 2009. Shilpa’s first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage and so when she conceived once again in 2009, the news was kept under wraps until the end of the first trimester.
8. Kajol Had Ectopic Pregnancy
What many of us might not know is Kajol’s first pregnancy was ectopic and ended in a miscarriage. The couple braved all fertility issues and now have two kids, a daughter Nysa and a son Yug.
9. Fardeen Khan and Natasha’s Twin Pregnancy Ended In Miscarriage
Fardeen was excited when his wife Natasha confirmed her pregnancy and took to twitter to reveal that they were expecting twins. However, this was short-lived as Natasha had a miscarriage. Fortunately for the couple, Natasha conceived again and delivered a cute princess in 2013.
And then there are celebrities who have gone one step ahead and are proud single parents. Nothing to be abashed about and a bold decision nevertheless, this became the fodder for the juiciest of gossip. In August 2016, this Golmaal Star threw a surprise when he announced the arrival of his son, Laksshya through IVF surrogacy. Tusshar was on cloud nine when he made the announcement and this sends out a strong message that paternity is not just for married men and women. 12.Karan Johar Chooses Surrogacy To Become A Father
Producer Karan Johar also surprised his fans when he took to twitter and confirmed the birth of his twin children, a boy and a girl, through surrogacy earlier this year in February. Social media was buzzing with reports for long lauding him for this bold decision.
